Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including hospitality environments, hotels, and residential properties. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and restrooms.
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure a clean environment.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and properly arranged.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas according to established standards.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is advantageous.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
